Roleplay Sample: Blood poured from the wounds on the other. It splattered across those surrounding the poor rodent trying to help him. Among those drenched in the gore was a red crystalline being who worked quickly to try and stop the bleeding. To no avail he worked but the wounds were too many at once. Sad red eye gems watched as the light faded from the eyes of the poor rodent and a hush fell over all as the crystal man spoke, "He's gone." Never had sadder words fallen from the being's gelatinous lips. He had lost his first patient. At 12:30 AM he pronounced a man dead for the first time. He went through the procedures of attempted resuscitation and again only lost the man. Sad eyes looked to the others as though he was lost in this moment. One question plagued his alien mind. Why? Why had he lost hi8m? He'd done everything. Eventually he learned what he should have learned many years ago before he came into the practice. They most simple revelation hit him almost painfully. He couldn't save everyone.
